""What a wonderful surprise producer Art Greenhaw has given us coming up on what would have been James Blackwood's 90th year. This is a compilation CD
of songs by James himself with the Blackwood Brothers & James Blackwood quartets, the Light Crust Doughboys & other friends. Although some of these memorable tracks have been previously released, there is some never-before released material by James along with some new tribute songs by his friends. Among the best of the latter is a wonderful song penned by producer Greenhaw himself for James' wife, Mim, entitled "Sending Me You." Rounding out the tribute is one of the best versions James has ever recorded of his signature song, "I'll Meet You In The Morning" - this one with his namesake quartet. The collection comes in a classy gatefold cover
with the classic cinema embellished still of the blind girl being led to Jesus -what a wondrous touch! All in all, what we have here is nothing less than a heartfelt tribute to a prince of a man and a king among American gospel singers."
