CD ReviewsSurprised Kelly | USA | 01/21/2006 (4 out of 5 stars) "I happen to write songs and when I wrote a song titled "Love + Bombs" I thought it sounded familiar. I searched to find out what I was thinking of, and I happened to come across this album by Jake Brennan. To top it all of he sounds like the second coming of Bruce Springsteen. That really helped considering I'm a huge Springsteen fan. Now, he may not write lyrics as well as Springsteen or even sing as well as him, in my opinion, but he sure is good. The first three songs on the album would make this a five star EP if that was all was on the album. If you like Springsteen, Elvis Costello, Tom Petty, John Mellencamp, etc. you will most likely like this album."
