TGM Album Review:As with many Jazz musicians, the ability to carry the listener away with the music is a talent that is spawned from within. Jack Lee Gates shows that talented vibe most predominantly. The smooth rhythm and groove of these musical compositions is truly enjoyable. Jack uses a classical jazz feel and combines it with modern technologies to create a superior style of jazz. This style can only be call the Jack Lee Gates style. Over the years, I've been honored to review some of the best jazz albums around. Jack Lee Gates is one of those who falls into that category. His smooth contemporary sounds are melodic and refreshing. His music is medicine for the soul. I do not dare compare Jack to any other jazz artist, because he is truly an original. Although his style of music shows many different influences, Jack Lee Gates can securely stand on his own. That is what is so beautiful about jazz music. There are really no boundaries. The music can take you anywhere you want it to go. The compositions are just a tool to help you free your mind and soul. Jack makes it easy for the listener to use his music as a tool for just such a journey. So if you love great music, if you love great jazz, Jack Lee Gates is an artist who will not disappoint.
