"JC Bach was a huge influence on Mozart, and when the young German phenom visited London with his family during the 1760s, Bach and the young Mozart really hit it off. If you listen to this really enjoyable and lovely recording by the Camerata Budapest and then some of Mozart's early symphonies, you can hear undeniable similarities between the two composers. Of course Mozart eventually found a way to take in what other composers had done and then create something new and totally revolutionary, but that does not take away from the charm and innocence of these works. Bach composed some really beautiful melodies that are featured in these short but sweet pieces. More than an hour of great music for not a lot of money."
