2010 release. The Dufay Ensemble was formed by Eckehard Kiem at Freiburg Conservatory the beginning of the 1990s. The ensemble is made up of trained singers who also further their experience as professional musicians in other genres. This production is the second CD recorded by the Dufay Ensemble to feature the music of Jacobus Vaet. In addition to Te Deum, the recordings include further motets, the Magnificat secundi toni and Missa Quodlibetica written by a composer who was well-known and popular during his day. Ars Musici.
