Synopsis
Album Description Hailing from Lake Mary, Florida, the members of It's Alive are all still in their early 20s, but they sound like nothing short of rock veterans on their debut album Human Resources. Human Resources boasts the camaraderie of four like-minded musicians on a mission. The first single, "Pieces," offers a taste of their vision, a heavy rock and roll bottom provided by the rhythm section of bassist Juice Dean and drummer Eddie Matta that gives way to lush melodies, characterized by Zach Webb's full-throated, emotional vocals and Clay Haywood's anthemic riffs. Opening track "The Bottom" is a thudding, intense number that sets the tone for the rest of the album, an intense and driven twelve tracks with prog-rock leanings on tracks like "Selfless" and "Back to the Rain". CD ReviewsBest music I've heard in a LONG time Nicholas R. Butler | Orlando, Florida | 05/25/2010 (5 out of 5 stars) "I have to say that these guys are really good. I actually got a chance to meet them in Orlando fl, and In New York while they were recording.. and without a doubt the best group of guys I know. They don't have big heads like the rest of the industry.. Their music speaks for itself, its powerful and defining all at the same time.. Give it a listen. You wont be disappointed." They Have Great Potential Asgeri Begum Sookia | 07/27/2010 (5 out of 5 stars) "This band is surely going to become big, I mean, one listen to their music and you're hooked. They have excellent and pleasing music, and the vocalist has an excellent voice, that makes you want to replay the music all the time. Highlights of The Album Include "The Bottom", "Pieces", "Questions", "Refuge From The Wreckage", "Dialysis", and "Fool For You"
Give this band a listen, I'm sure you'll like them, in case you are wondering what's their genre, I would probably say it's Alternative Rock. Hope this is helpful :)" |
