Maelo at his best

"This is, probably, Maelo's best album, by far. First, Kako's band, which includes Carlos "Patato" Valdés on congas and Kako on timbales, sounds as tight as a salsa band could sound; aggressive, like a New York band, but with traces of traditional Cuban sound.
Maelo's voice is at its best, and his interpretations simply rock. Classics like "Mi negrita me espera", "El cumbanchero", "La cumbita" and "Entierro a la moda" are included in this album, and other less known songs as "Cantar maravilloso" (a cover of the classic rumba performed by Los Muñequitos de Matanzas) make this album a must have for any serious salsa fan.
Simply put, if you don't have it, get it now."
