Well, they've done it again

"Sure, there may be more songs on this disc than most. But surely, Isaac Hayes' artistic vision would be better served by a boxed set or by the original albums, where the full-length performances can be heard, rather than these edited-for-broadcast versions sliced down for radio stations to sell more shampoo and chewing gum. It is an insult to the memory of such an important musical figure. The rating I have given this collection is for the business end of things, not for the fine music found within. THAT is worth five stars. Concord Music has proved they are no better guardians of Mr. Hayes' legacy than Fantasy Records were when they owned the masters. And that they are just as, if not more, greedy."
