Isaac Hayes in the beginning...

"The fact that this album was not commercially successful is not surprising--but that's no reason to dismiss or ignore it. It's the kind of Cd you'd want to play as background music during a late-night rendezvous with someone special or during lovemaking. Nonetheless, this is an intoxicating set of smooth romantic balladry that could be viewed (if released and recorded today) as an Isaac Hayes "Unplugged" album. Powerful and smooth romantic vocals from Isaac Hayes with nice piano accompaniment."
