Songwriter Heather McIntosh refined her sense of arrangement and use of ambience and developed a sophisticated song cycle. She's been a staple of the Athens' music scene for the past decade. She's a classically trained cellist and current member of Circulatory System, Elf Power, and Japancakes, and has also played or recorded with Superchunk, Of Montreal, The Gerbils, and Kevin Ayers.
