Ingrid Lucia has a sultry, expressive voice that takes you straight to the small, smoky clubs in New Orleans where you go to lose yourself in the music. What is amazing is that she sounds so much like Billie Holiday and yet has a sound all her own. The entire group meshes to produce a wonderful album that embraces you like an old friend." I was surprized to find that it was not for sale in music stores. This is my favorite jazz CD. Ingrid's voice is sexy, smooth, and very Billie Holiday, it is hard to believe that she is white. Todd sings lead on the song 'Mari Laveau.' A funny song that I have heard a hundred times and it still makes me laugh. This is a GREAT ALBUM with many different sounds, a must have!!!!!"
