"This is the initial release from bassist Simon Johns' side project. As with Laeticia's debut with Monade, "Socialisme ou le Barbarie" This is a new band finding its way, with mixed results. Both released far better sophomore efforts, which I recommend checking out first: Respectively, "Burn It Down, Blow It Up, Kick It Til It Bleeds" and "A Few Steps More". Completists who adore those may want to seek these debut efforts out. Be aware that half the material is instrumental, and doesn't quite feel fully realized, as if they cobbled together a few promising jam sessions."

"Mellow and Jazzy.
Tracks 4,8 and 9 stand out.
Picked this album up after a stereolab concert,
this album is a solo project from the lead singer of stereolab.
They are excellent live (they had about 10 people wedged on the stage jamming)"
