"This song was such a great song, i thought it was the beginning of at least a great string of great hits if not a string of great albums. But I have heard naught a note from this lady since 1997. Great video too. She stood out from other artists in style and looks. She was then covered over by the avalanche of pretty pop productions. Imani Coppola thank you for this song, i wish they never stopped coming."

"This CD shouldn't cost 35+ bucks! It's ridiculous, because Ms Coppola has talent, unlike, say, Lindsay Lohan, and it's from 1997, fergawd's sake! That wasn't too long ago, if you think about it! The remixes on here are simply amazing. Here's a track listing, rating, & review of each:

1. Radio Version-Exactly what it says. 10/10

2. Za-Za Pau Mix-Trippy, alternative mix. Fun, but a tad weird. 9.8/10

3. Prince Paul Mix-Hip-hoppish remix. This is the one that was included on the promo. 10/10

4. In the...Jim Mix-A perfect way to end this CD, the ITJ Mix has kind of a chillout feel, but you can still dance to it. 10/10

Imani Coppola, you will be missed!(By me, anyway.)



PS: Imani has a new album out, called afrodite, released in 2004. It isn't as sunny as Chupacabra, but it's worth a listen."
