"I am a huge fan of Non-Phixion (which consists of Ill Bill, Goretex, and Sabac Red) so I was exstatic to hear of Bill's solo album Ill Bill Is The Future... released through Uncle Howie Records I believe, but I was even more excited to get a peek into the past of one of Hip-Hop's hardest hitting white boys. Early Years was a satisfying listen as I had expected the quality on a rather large number of tracks to be rather distorted or scratchy, however the demos that Bill produced unlike many of Necro and Bill's live performances are for the majority fairly high quality. Judging from the quality of Rare Demos and Freestyles Vol 1 by Necro a little more time was put into the remastering of the master tracks. The result is a very clean sounding CD that travels all the way back to 1991 to deliver some of the rarest ILL Bill ever recorded! The best tracks however date from about 1993 to 1994 as Bill's style became more and more defined, though he sounded little like the Bill that we know today. I have a couple of real favorites on this CD, I don't have any such favorites from the assembled Necro Rare and Demo collection, this is much better. I would recommend this to any fan of Ill Bill and especially to early Bill or Necro fans. This is some sick stuff so give it a listen and if you like this hop over to necrohiphop.com and pick up Ill Bill Is The Future..."
