"Il Volo" is the new world of classical pop sensation. Piero Barone, Ignazio Ginobl Gianluca Boschetto participated in the Italian reality "Ti Lascia A Canzone" and fascinated the audience with their flawless performance of the song, "O Sole Mio." The trio won the contest and decided that their group needed a name. "Il Volo,"which means "The Flight." They may be young, but the mission of "Il Volo" is clear: "We want to share our love for this music with people around the world, including young people of our age." Piero, Ignacio, and Gianluca recorded the album in both Los Angeles and Rome, as well as in the famous London studio, Abbey Road by the hand of the living legend Tony Renis and Chilean multi-award winning producer, Humberto Gatica. The stellar album shows the talent of these three young singers with amazing voices and interpretive gifts as they interpret a number of classic songs with contemporary and traditional pop influences. Their debut album, "Il Volo", contains 11 songs and includes their own unique version of "O Sole Mio" and goes on sale in the U.S. and Puerto Rico June 7, 2011.
