CD Reviews

High quality studio recording
J. G. Herdes | Amsterdam | 10/13/2008
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This is one of the most timeless albums from Iva Davies. Ofcourse it has it's 80's fingerprint but non the less..timeless. The combination of the drum and basslines are stunning. The track " stay close tonight " shows this. The tracks " sidewalk "and " dusty pages " would fit right in todays top 10. Shame that Iva just won't release the album on which he has been working on for many years now. How can we possibly motivate him to share his work with us?"
Forgotten album
Pastor of Disaster | Wexford, Ireland | 12/31/2008
(4 out of 5 stars)

"Even amongst Icehouse fans, this remains a forgotten album, and perhaps tune for tune, it isnt as strong as Measure for Measure, but the 2 could almost be a double album in the Sons and Fascination/Sister Feelings Call mode, becasue the songs and production are similar. Really well worth adding to the collection if you can find it."
Good
Seronac Rich | Orem, UT USA | 08/25/2008
(4 out of 5 stars)

"Standard Icehouse tunes, but still not as good as Man of Colours. Oh, well, can't live in the past."
