"A very good, if not great, "best of" collection from this Australian band. Even though the later songs lack the strong writing of the earlier material, it is still worth owning for your collection."

"After finding a complation disc with "No Promises", I recalled having some vinyl by these guys. I found some of those songs on this disc, but a few were a new find for me.I think with a little more air play, they would have been big here in the U.S. like they were in Australia.
The first few songs on the disc are very early new wave/pop feeling. I think they are alright, but I personally find the later tracks, especially" Hey Little Girl"," Don't Believe Anymore", and "No Promises" as good as any pop/rock ballads of the period. And for any of you "Divinyls" fans, the last song, a duet with lead singer Christian Amphlett and Iva Davies, is worth the cost of the disc alone!
Over all, I really have grown to enjoy this disc a lot. Varied styles, catchy lirics, and very well produced with excellent sound quality, I think any of us 80's music lovers will find a good spot in their collection for this disc and will enjoy it as much as I do.

"I have to say that the entire album is a trendsetter, from Icehouse to Sister, to all of the other cuts, I would have to say that if you don't have this one...you should"
