Rock and roll without the gimmicks

"This album represents rock and roll the way it was meant to be played. That is, nothing fancy, straight-ahead, no gimmicks and no computers and synthesizers getting in the way. That's why my record and cd collection mainly draws from the early to mid-seventies. The songs are simple in concept and arrangements and make for a great listening experience. Every instrument can be heard clearly. It has a slight raw feel, which, to me, is much better to listen to than some of the glossy stuff that started coming out in the 80's. It gives it an almost live, in the studio feel. That being said, if you like your music pure and simple, check it out...."
Should have been a classic...

"My brother found this gem rotting in a cutout bin in the 70's. Every bit as good as ANY 70's power rock lp. If you thought there were no more great rock albums, buy this and TURN IT UP! Then tell your friends so we can get the 2nd and 3rd albums on CD."
