CD ReviewsRunning From the Wendigo Daniel J. Gilmartin III | Hell, USA | 12/26/2006 (5 out of 5 stars) "Beginning with "Tribal Warning Shot" one of the earliest American Industrial singles released by a DIY group, you should immediatley be magnetized. Next track is where their classic "Nomad Souls" lp from 1984 originally begins, a peice that maybe not so enthusiastically brings one back to the grueling daze ov slavery. "Beautiful Ugly" is a driving EBM-like song that should have all true Industrial fans creaming. "Born of Fire" contains one of the most infectious break beats from the mid-80s, an intense song like the next one. "The Wolf Hour" for any girl who ever wanted to srceam Rosselle Williams of H.L. will show you how it's to be done on this track about running from an inescapable fate. The next two "Rhythm Cage" and "God Loves the Rockstars" are true hearted factory slammers throwing Neubauten's best attempts into the wind. The last two of the "Nomad Souls" set are desolate and unforgiving. "Necropolis" ends with a live version of the CLASSIC "Tribal Warning Shot", proving the rhythmic skills of one of the most mysterious bands of the early American Industrial underground. An album that needs to be re-discovered by those who've lost their faith in the genre and a return to some of the strongest roots an alternative tribal scene will ever feel...PERIOD!"
