"Hunter has a winner with this CD. His choice of songs shows he's well rounded in his music. Hunter shows remarkable talent for his age and a maturity with his music that doesn't let on he was 7 when he recorded this. If you were listening to this CD and didn't know the artist you'd swear the artist was a lot older than 7. The 2 songs he wrote are very good, and show a very promising writing career. Let's hope he continues. This young man is not only a great talent but a very down to earth young man. His band H.O.T. is also very good and they only complement this young man in his music. Hunter's enthusiasm with his music really shows especially in the faster tunes. As he gets older his playing, singing, and writing will only make him a greater presence to be reckoned with in the music field. He has a great future. Look what he's accomplished so far, and he's only 8."

"being new o the cajun/zydeco scene, I have to admit that I think this is probally the BEST I've heard.. Its an awesome cd, some songs make ya grab tissues, others will make ya wanna dance =) If youre lookin for something good this is definately it"

"This was another fun recording from Hunter. The first one I heard at Bayou Boudin and Cracklins, a bed and breakfast in Breau Bridge, LA, when he was about 3, was a tape called "Hunter Hayes and Friends" and I was hooked. He is an amazing young man, and not just a cute face! He was an accomplished musician at 3, and continues to touch hearts. I anxiously await more!"
