"This is the first of 3 releases by the Hunt, unless you include their greatest hits collection, which by the way is the best place to start if you have never heard the Hunt before. This initial release does not feature the 3 man line-up that Back on the Hunt and Thrill of the Kill boast. This CD features a full time keyboard player that adds a complete extra dimension to the band's sound. Even as a larger band the Hunt has precision and raw power.Into the disc itself are a variety of sounds, but I tend to like either ballads or harder rock. What should have been huge hits, but received little airplay, other than in Canada and San Antonio were "Little Miss Perfection" and "I Wanted to be a King", which segue into each other. The two are one of those songs that I hear over and over again in my head. It is great that this is available on a CD, not that I don't still cherish memorable moments with my record player. The other song of note on the disc is "I Was Only Dreaming". Don't get me wrong the music and lyrics here are great, but the three afore mentioned songs are the meat and potatoes of this disc. You will wonder why you never heard the Hunt before once you listen to this or any of their other discs. If you only plan to scope them out, please try "Tracked Down", as it is a good collection from their 3 releases, although it doesn't have all of their best, in my opinion, on it."
