"It is unfair that the Hues Corporation should be remembered as a one-hit wonder. Their debut album, "Freedom for The Stallion", was a soul masterpiece. It contained at least three ballads that were pure magic: "Off My Cloud", "Go To The Poet" and the title track. "The Family", "Bound on A Reason" and "Miracle Maker" were overlooked gems, too. Unfortunately, only "Rock The Boat" was a hit. And it was credited by some writers with the dubious merit of being the song that started the disco craze. But there was far more to the Hues Corporation than just disco. This compilation is the one to get, as it includes all the good tracks from their debut album plus a good number of selections from their two other albums."
