Café Amore is a guitar-based album and the culmination of artist Howard Green's long journey back to his first love, the guitar. The path began with Howard exploring the strings of a cello, then wound through orchestras and the music of the great masters, finally ending in guitar transcriptions of the Bach Cello Suites. Café Amore showcases Howard's new joy in playing guitar and is evident in his much expanded musical palette featuring the many voices of the guitar. The journey of his return to the guitar is truly a love story, and each track a musical love letter.
