"Some friends and I went to see ex-Husker Du frontman Bob Mould in concert during the Workbook tour in 1989 in Munich, at a small place with crowd of maybe 200. Opening for him was a band none of us ever heard of, House of Freaks. Two guys? What the hell? Their set (most of Tantilla) blew everyone away, really amazing. I (and probably a lot of others in the crowd) went out and bought the record, and it is hell of a record."
