"Ive already reviewed this album once but Amazon still hasnt put it up and its been over 7 business days. So Ill just say this....get your hands on this and ALL Hookers releases. They're the only band out there right now that matters. Buy or die...."

"This follow-up to the band's earlier, more punk-oriented releases takes a different turn with their sound, tipping toward a contagious blend of modern metal riffs and NWOBHM-esque compositions. Rife with rythyms that will stick with you for days and yelled lyrics that appeal to those with anger inside, the lead singer Adam Neal and guitarist Noel Ruecroft composed a sadly overlooked rock album that should rightfully have been mentioned in the same breath with Gluecifer, TBNGR, Hellacopters, Gaza Strippers, et al. This is an epic release from a band who could have gone so much farther, if only they'd had a decent label to back them. If you're a fan of hardcore, heavy metal, NWOBHM, and/or "horror punk," buy Black Visions and you won't be disappointed. If you like this album, I also recommend their last studio album, Equinox Beyond Tomorrow."

"I actually looked up this band's name as a joke, and found all these really good reviews for this record. So I figured I could afford to gamble on taking a listen. Afterall, I'm into metal, goth, punk, and pain-rock, and I have been known to get down at a black mass or two. Imagine how thrilled I was, then, when the Hookers MORE THAN lived up to my highest expectations (or is that my worst nightmares?). Folks, this is evil music at its best: fast, tight, and devastating, like the blade of a guillotine. and the singer can really SING! There's a shock, huh? Highly recommended, whether you bow to the powers of nightfall, or you just dig hot, hard music."
