"Re: another reviewer's comments -- Jupiter isn't even on this CD!Here's what you *do* get:Holst: Venus, Mercury, Uranus (three of the 8 planets from the complete suite) (19 min) -- Rimsky-Korsakov: The Sea and Sinbad's Ship (from Scheherazade) (10 min) -- Friedrich [sic] Liszt: Symphonic Poem no. 3 (from Les Preludes) (17 min) -- Mendelssohn: Overture op. 26 (from Hebrides) (9 min) -- Richard Strauss: First part of Also Sprach Zarathustra (11 min)This mishmash of a CD is a good introduction to symphonic poems, but if you already like one or more of these works, buy a CD with the whole work. Two stars for overall content/performance, an added star 'cause it's nice as background music, and an added star for value."
