"When I was in high school many moons ago I remember I went to the music
store to buy, Schubert's Seranade. By mistake I picked up Sigmund Romberg's
Seranade. I had just discovered some of the most beautiful music ever
recorded. On this recording with Carmen Dragon and The Hollywood Bowl
Pops Orchestra you will you will find music that makes you feel as if you
had died and gone to heaven. Included are: Selections from "The Student
Prince"(Seranade, Drinking Song, Deep in my Heart, Dear); From "The Desert
Song", The Riff Song, One Alone and The Desert Song (does anyone remember
the actor, Dennis Morgan who had a beautiful voice, singing this one);
From "Up in Central Park, Close as page in a book and from "the New Moon",
Softly as a Morning Sunrise, Lover Come back and Stouthearted Men. I wonder
if we will ever have such lovely music pass our way again but we are fortunate
to still be able to relive them again on CD."
