Holly is GREAT in concert

"If you've never seen or heard Holly Near, this is a great introductory lesson. She's got a terrific soaring voice, but she's equally adept at slow ballads and other folk work. Her duets with Mercedes Sosa are sublime and this version of "Great Peace March" is my favorite. Buy this. Buy her other work. She's a great artist who's gone unnoticed by mainstream America."
Brillant album that is hard to find now

"This was considered her "sad" album.
(And maybe her most angry album).
The singer/songwiter,
Holly Near, leads us on a march that
will change the world if everyone would
just stop all the wars. She tells us of
the struggles starting from before
the US civil war and up to now.
Amazing singing from both Holly Near and
Mercedes Sosa.
This is my favorite album from Holly Near
because she sings with anger about the
condition our world is in today, even
though this was first released in 2004."
