"Holly Near has one of the best voices out there. It's strong, but it has a high-ranged clarity that's unusual for such a powerful voice. There's also a friendliness in her sound, a welcoming warmth that makes you want to hear her albums to calm you down and pick you up.JOURNEYS is a greatest hits album. So it gives you samples from different records, and that makes it a good buy. However, it does not include anything from SKY DANCES, her prettiest album. And it pre-dates EDGE which is a must-have. So to have the best of the best, you'll still have to buy those two.But this will certainly give you a taste of why she's so popular!"
