"Hogscraper is a very unique band that is local to Cincinnati, Ohio. They are a three piece band that consists of banjo, drums and washtub bass (singer). What makes them the most original band to come out of Cincinnati is their ability to combine bluegrass music with sinister lyrics, not to mention a punk additude. The atmosphere they create on stage is no less intense, with female dancers and the infamous boar's head impaled in front of the stage. This remastered release is a MUCH more refined version than some of their original recordings. There are actually two original tracks at the end of this album to compare them. I consider this type of music "satanic-bluegrass" but the insturmental is classic and very catchy. You will find your self disturbingly liking them, while your friends give you a curious eye the first time you play it for them.
