"Again, the worship flowing out of this church is anointed and inspired by the Holy Spirit! I love to worship our Gorgeous God, and this album really is another CD to do this with. It never ceases to move my spirit to worship with the Body of Christ and when you worship with the Hillsong team, you truly feel part of the universal Body of our Precious Jesus! I ordered this CD from Australia since the release date in the U.S. is late September - I couldn't wait! As listed in the basic editorial review, five of the songs are from the "United - Look to You" disc, which I hope by now every one of you reading this review already have (smile) since it was released in the U.S. in May (phenominal!!! Get it!!! Every single track is fantastic). The Bible tells us to worship in psalms (singing Scripture), hymns (songs recorded aka this album etc), and spiritual songs (spontaneous worship from the heart of the worshiper). That is God's desire in worship. This album has all three - especially the spiritual songs - at an incredible level. I really felt like I was experiencing the church worshiping God and not a concert. The production is fantastic as you have come to expect from Hillsong with the lights, musicians, sound quality, 500 voice choir, and 200 dancers, however you sense WORSHIP when you listen. That definately is foremost here. Here is a quick run down of the tracks:
Let Creation Sing - upbeat. definately one to dance to Jesus to. Love the imagery of creation in here.
Salvation is here - upbeat. from Look to you. "salvation is here and He lives in me"
His Love - upbeat. driving rhythms and guitar. Really awesome!
Emmanuel - This starts the run of slower-paced worship. I LOVE THIS. I love God in the form of Emmanuel (Reuben Morgan wrote this - 'nough said for those of you who really listen to Hillsong). Then right into,
Saviour - Darlene Zschech wrote this one. SO BEAUTIFUL!!! "You deserve, You deserve, You deserve all the praise!" Amen and Amen!!! Again, right into
Wonderful God - this one is so beautiful. I love it.
God He Reigns - this is a powerful worship song. Really exalts our Magnificient God. Title track and I can see why then they go into the chorus of All I Need is you from "Look to You". The church really really takes time to worship God on this for about 9 minutes!
Yours is the Kingdom - Joel Houston wrote this one (like Salvation is Here) this is the upbeat song in the middle like they do. Love it!
Welcome in this Place - Miriam Webster wrote this and you can tell it is written by her. She definately has a unique, God-given "voice" of worship communication. I love, love, love this song!
Let us Adore - Reuben Morgan wrote this. It really does take you to that heavenly place of worship and adoration.
All for Love - although this is a really lovely arrangement, I definately prefer the arrangement from Look to You. It is actually my favourite song from Look to You. I miss it going right into Shout Unto God. So this one is nice, really beautiful kinda gospelly which Telele and maybe his brother? is leading.
Know you More - Darlene again...beautiful. This is the cry of my heart, and so this song definatly speaks directly to my heart and it is definately one Darlene's most beautiful ballads to date.
There is nothing like - From Look to You. Sounds much the same. Love this song.
What the World will never take - upbeat. Love this one. I dance around my room to this one!
Tell the World - Amen to this! Lets tell the world about our Gorgeous God. this song is really great and the momentum is a great way to move the end of the concert out.
All in all, I love this album. I dont compare albums because God does something different in each one. This album is beautiful in its own right. Please buy this album - you will really be blessed!"
