A great Mancini album, with great covers of Sousa.

"J.P. Sousa's marches are always thought of during patriotic holidays and for marching bands, and the genius that is Henry Mancini took the songs of Sousa and recreated them with his own marching sound. There are all of the classic America songsd that people are well informed about and others that are new to some people. On the album, the brass section is phenominal, especially the Tubas/Sousaphones. The rest of the band is great, but the brass section stands out the most. This album is a must for Sousa fans, or Mancini fans."
