CD ReviewsA Great musical time capsule Cam Op | Oklahoma City, OK United States | 12/29/2002 (5 out of 5 stars) "This 1963 release is one of Mr. Mancini's best. Having the chance to own it on CD is a must for any Mancini fan. Too bad that all the great instrumentalists of the 50's and 60's are gone now. For those who grew up in Oklahoma City in the 1960's, the third cut on the album, Theme from "The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm" was used by HoHo the Clown as his theme for many years on KOCO/TV. Mancini was also one of the first, if not THE first to use bass flutes in recordings, they can be heard on "Walk on the Wild Side". One gripe...on my copy, the left and right channels are reversed. Anyone else notice the problem? The CD is on the BMG Spain label. SHAME on RCA for not releasing this CD in the USA. Come on RCA....get with it!!!!!"
