"This production is a disapointment to me and others with whom I have shared it. There is none of the exictement and vigor found in his "goes classic" productions. Helmut comes off as a poor imatation of Elvis doing 'romantic' songs, none of which I have ever heard. Such a shame for a potential world class performer to release this CD. I will continue to buy his work but really hope he sticks to the more vigerous and vibrant music. Thatis where he excels and what we want some more........."

"I agree with previous reviews that this album is not like his "Classics" series. This album shows Helmut's versatile use of vocal range and musical style. Yes, some of the lyrics may be considered "banal," but that can be said of many "romantic songs." I really enjoy this album, because it IS DIFFERENT from the "Classics" ones. Helmut shows that he can have life and fun without Verdi, Bach, or Bizet. Give it a listen, and see the other side of Helmut."

"Everyone likes perfection in arts, and some people don`t even mind uglyness. It is mediocrity that is really scary, and this is what this album is.
I have been Lotti`s fan for many years, and this is the WORST of his work I`ve heard so far. The great voice of his is NOT being utilized to its utmost, the music totally LACKS originality, and - overall - "What`s you point here?"
I would not hesitate to recommend other albums by Helmut Lotti to anyone who loves good music, but with this one - do NOT buy it, unless you have too much money and you are eager to get rid of some!!"
