Product DescriptionEllion is an American heavy metal band formed in 1982 in Los Angeles, California. The band's original roster included Ann Boleyn on vocals, Ray Schenck on guitar, Sean Kelley on drums and Peyton Tuthill on bass. In early 1985 the band decided to split from Ann and replaced her with a male singer, Richard Parrico. Hellion continues to perform today with different band members. Black Box is a concept album that when Ann Boleyn began writing the lyrics, she decided that a full-length novel should accompany the album. The story is about her darker experiences with life deriving from her ancestors who supposedly inherited magical powers that came back to haunt her. Ann's voice is dark, with a heavier European style metal than what was going on in the music world at the original release of this album. A sweet tidbit... Hellion was the first metal band to play in the then U.S.S.R! Did I mention that this CD has a bonus track of their version of Led Zeppelin's Immigrant Song.
