"My husband met the group Alturas when he was in California a couple of years ago. He talked with them and bought a tape and let me listen to it. I was hooked from then on. Their music is beautiful and comforting. Even our 16 year old son loves to listen to their music. I wish it was easier to find it stores. From the Heights is one of my favorites. I continue to listen to it even after 2 years. The men in this group are humble and very talented. Anything they produce is more than worth listening too. It is money well spent."

I got more work done while I listened to this.

Alturas - Review of Group and their music

"Caught this group at the Irvine Spectrum a few months ago. Their live performance was just as beautiful and sharp as their recordings. So good was their show, I thought for sure they were playing a recording of their music, but they weren't. It's incredible, the amount of instruments they play. I enjoy newage/earth music, so this is a great group for me. However, my boyfriend has no interest in newage/earth music and he LOVED this band. For x-mas, I'm getting him every CD they've cut. I highly recommend this group and would buy any future titles without ever listening to them beforehand. Definitely music that soothes the mind and soul."
