"Is she country? Is she pop? Folk? Tough to tell, but who cares? Heather Combs' influences are debatable, but one fact stands undisputed: she rocks. I ran across the band when they played Davis, CA, and was instantly hooked. Heather Combs transcends genres and classification; she's a little country, a little rock, and a joy to listen to. The CDs couldn't possibly capture the energy of her live performances, but they come pretty darn close. Hot spots "In this town" and "Ain't coming back" showcase the band's tremendous musical range and Heather's lyrical depth. Her supporting cast (including horn and fiddle)is exceptional.
