This is the second album for Headmess, formerly known as Underbelly (first album "shade"). This CD shows Headmess with a rawer sound--the music is, on the whole, more street than his first effort. It also shows a heightened lyrical sophistication. As hard as the lyrical ideas were in the first album to solve, here in "Puzzles", the Headmess lyrics exhibit underlyingly even more complex structures. You can try to solve the puzzles, 3 of them, on your own, or, if you'd like a little help, additional clues are provided on the CD jacket.
