"This type of music isn't for everyone.



1. Hayseed Dixie does NOT mimic ACDC - so do NOT expect a ROCK album.



Knowing that, if you like ACDC and other rock - but have an affinity for bluegrass, banjo picken, and such then you will like this album.



As a 'youngster' at family gatherings people would bring acoustic guitars, fiddles, banjos, and a piano was nearby. Family members would sing country gospel, classic country and bluegrass.



When I grew up I developed my own music taste and enjoyed AC DC, The WHO, Metallica, Floyd, etc... but always still enjoyed the bluegrass sound. With Hayseed Dixie I can have my cake and eat it too.



This album gives ACDC tunes a bluegrass sound. If you like bluegrass and ACDC I encourage you to try it.



If you do not like bluegrass, you will not like this album."

"I like this cd so much i've given it as a gift multiple times. Its extremely clever, tight, and incredibly entertaining. This is a must have cd whether you're a rocker, folk/bluegrass music fan, or simply enjoy the irony of the combination of two types of music. Buy it and find out you won't be disappointed."
