Ed Luhrs | Long Island, NY USA | 05/25/2010 (5 out of 5 stars) "If you haven't heard many classical symphonies before, you can't go wrong starting here. This is great stuff, especially No. 94. There are many period instrument performances that crackle and pop in odd and less than graceful ways. This isn't one of those. Hogwood's version here is an A+: Penguin may have even given it the mighty rosette some years back. This is Haydn performed by great musicians; the energy of the performance makes it a pleasure to hear."
