"This disc,by some has been refered to as 'a companion CD' to the band's 'Palace Springs' disc since they were both recorded live on the band's 1990 U.S. tour.BELIEVE me,'Palace Springs' is SO much better. The only reason I'm giving this release a two star rating instead of one,is that "Ejection" actually sounds pretty decent, but even that track gets snipped off in the last couple of minutes."Brainstorm" is a lame-ass mix and most of all "Refer Madness" is truly pathetic! For Hawkwind completists ONLY."

"This live set follows the much better 'Palace Springs' set. This disc has nothing worth mentioning as far as a recommended track. Hard to believe this is the same band. Buy at your own risk!"

"Man this is a great cd!! If u are a big HAWKWIND fan like me you
have probably searched all the used bins in your areas looking for killer stuff and when you were able to even find any at all half of it wasn't worth what ever you payed for it! Not that the songs and the playing weren't great but the sound leaves ALOT to be desired (what about that editing?) on most of the unoffical releases that are about all that are obtainable.(Thank God for Amazon huh?) Anyway no such problems with this
great buy! Sounds great turn it up loud!! And not the same old
set list that is on most the unoffical live offerings. If u are not one those guys that only like Space Ritual era HAWKWIND
then you should love this one. Why? Because it rocks from beginning to end baby! BUY IT, TURN IT UP AND ENJOY!!!"

"At first, I thought, do we really need another live version of Brainstorm? The answer is undoubtedly- YES! Also, this live album is way better than The Business Trip. The band is basically a four piece line-up (Bridgette can only be heard on a few tracks) at this point, so you can actually hear the music as it's not buried under a barrage of noise. The songs are longer and there is no fake applause, like on The Business Trip. Even more refreshing, is the total lack of those annoying momentum killing poetry readings and aimless keyboard instrumentals. I've had more success converting people to Hawkwind with this CD than any other Hawkwind CD. Also, unlike some other live Hawkwind releases, the quality of the recording is first-rate. Rock On!"
