"Have Heart is simply amazing, and with an amazing band comes an amazing album. The Things We Carry is amazing. The lyrics are positive and uplifting, and make the music something that goes far beyond "average" music. The vibe the music gives you from Have Heart makes you feel uplifted and just straight up great. You can tell that Have Heart have a hudge passion for what they do and what they stand for, which you have to look hard to find these days in hardcore.
The music is brilliantly recorded, it's not sketchy and poor. The sound quality on this album is great, every insturment has a great touch to it and come together perfect. For anyone that is into hardcore or just uplifiting music, this album is definitly for you. If you want to feel great about life, you should get this album. If you're a fan of Modern Life is War, Champion, and Signs of Hope I would definitly recomend this album. It will blow you away. Have Heart is one of the most important bands in hardcore today, and everyone (a hardcore fan or not) should experience their music."

"these guys are real good, some of my friends bands went on tour with them this summer, and all I can say is that 'things we carry' and their album 'what counts' are rock solid, great music all around, all of the tracks are great, some just stand out more than others, like 'The Machinist, Something more Than Ink, Old Man II', all carry that Hardcore Charm.
Good Music Fellas, keep up the good work!"
A refreshing release into the world of Hardcore

"Have Heart occupy a peculiar position. They are one of very, very few premier straight edge hardcore acts still releasing new material. Luckily for ourselves as listeners, this album delivers on all accounts to satisfy our needs. In a genre that has had it's name, in recent years, bastardized by both "scenecore" screamo bands as well as the pseudo-grindcore acts that substitute the necessary intensity in hardcore music with pointless, unsatisfying noise that requires no skill at all, Have Heart churn out track after track of what hardcore music should sound like.
I can easily go into detail about this album, but I'll keep it short and sweet. Eleven tracks, with the longest journeying into the three minute mark. Ten fast paced, in your face hardcore songs with just enough melody to make things enjoyable, while at the same time not going over the top. Old Man II, placed strategically in the middle of the album, offers a breathe of fresh air with beautiful guitar work and distant singing, until the song breaks loose and opens up into more relentless, thundering hardcore music. This album deserves to be picked up by anyone who has ever, if even for a fraction of a second, listened to- and enjoyed- hardcore music."

"the things we carry is amazing. i think that have heart are one of the very few bands keeping it real in hardcore these days. it's deffinetly the best straight edge band to come out with anything in a long time. if you're into carry on, verse, donny brook, casey jones, or my turn to win. you'll most likely be into these guys."
