CD Reviews

Can't do without classic

"After hearing this at my son's nursery school, I was on a mission to get a copy for our home! This is a wonderful collection of songs for little ones. The catchy lyrics and the nonintrusive music make it easy to listen to again and again. It took some finding -- online is about the only place to easily get it -- but well worth the added effort. Recommended highly to all parents searching for quality music for their young children. In addition, More Babysongs, formerly titled Tickly Toddle, is a good pairing for this CD, although the music is not quite as catchy. Still a good compliment to round out the collection."
Great first music tape

"I have this cassette and I also own the video. This has been my 18 month olds favorite video and tape of songs for a long time! I think all infants and toddlers would have a lot of fun with this!"
Babysongs

"My 2-year-old daughter is a great fan of the entire Babysongs video series, which is a tribute to the single composer of all these simple and yet touching songs. Since we have a video-viewing rule (no TV while the sun is up), this album of familiar songs should make for some nice listening on a rainy/snowy day. Unlike many of the other kid albums (which, to my tastes as a musician, are either too rock-hip in their settings or too smarmy-conventional), this collection is pleasingly orchestrated without losing touch with the kids whom it entertains. If you don't have the videos, I recommend them as well (K's favorite is the ABC-123 one, which is also the most educational of the bunch.)"
