"Let me see. Where do I begin? I first watched a movie called the Peacemaker. The movie I would say was very heartfelt and entertaining. But, the moment I heard the music at the end of the movie, I WAS HOOKED. From the moment I heard that beautiful song, immediately my mission was clear. I had to own the soundtrack. I had never purchased one before, and was a little skeptical about buying a CD ... that only had 5 tracks. It was the best single purchase I have ever made. Period. The CD in its entirety was great, but I needed that song I had heard at the end. I bought the CD for track 5, but I loved the whole CD. From the very first track,"Trains," Hans Zimmer sets the mood with low toned Bass, then slowly graduating to low pitch violins. It will crate a mental image you wont believe. On to track 2, "Davoe's Revenge." You can fell this man's anger throughout the fast paced chase music with drums and a small bit of the song that makes it a masterpiece. Track 3, "Sarajevo," starts out slow. Later on it almost has an eeriness to it that makes your skin crawl. Then finally completing with a female solo vocal, that slowly fades away. Track 4 is THE track. It is the most amazing single piece of work I have ever had the pleasure of hearing. The Treat is at the very end of track 4. Track 5 is a very low-pitched, but rising, male choir. After the choir however it sounds an awful lot like Trains. All in all, if you are a fan of Hans Zimmer or Soundtracks, this is a must have. This CD got me interested in buying other soundtracks and is sure to please. Bravo!"
Hans Zimmer is a genius!

"Bad movie-awesome soundtrack! This is vintage Hans Zimmer, second only to The Rock in my book. Track 4 is worth the price of the CD by itself! Some of the most exciting music I've ever heard, you will not be disappointed. While you're at it, go ahead and pick up The Rock, Crimson Tide and Backdraft if you don't already have them."

A few words about the score-> stormy strings, pounding percussions, fierce - aggresive but always melodic tempo, music motifs with heroism-boldness-vigour-courage, orchestra along with synth lines. A powerful, rousing score, full of energy with thrills galore. So many thrills that in case you have problems with your heart I strongly recommend not to listen to it because you may have a heart attack!!!
There's also a gothic choir that fits really nice.
"I've loved Hans Zimmer's music for years now ('Crimson Tide', 'Drop Zone', 'The Rock', 'Backdraft' and more) and this soundtrack to what I consider to be an excellent film helps in ways you cannot possibly imagine. The 4th track, which details the helicopter action scene near the end of the film is one of the best pieces of music I've ever heard. 7 minutes into it the chorus kicks in, and it sends a chill of delight down my spine every time I hear it. His use of rising strings and percussion is a truly wondrous talent of his, and I will treasure this soundtrack until the day I die. Thank you Hans."
You won't find peace in this slam bang action score

"The Peacemaker is a typical high testosterone filled action score like Crimson Tide and The Rock. Hans Zimmer used a full symphony orchestra, with bombastic percussion, along with a Russian choir and his usual array of synthesizers to create a solid and powerful score. The music is very loud most of the time, fast paced, and largely bombastic. The main theme is contained throughout just about every track in the score and comes and goes. The tracks are very long with "Trains" over 13 minutes, "Devoe's Revenge" the shortest at about 5 minutes, "Sarajevo" at about 9 minutes, "Chase" at 17 minutes, and "Peacemaker" at almost 10 minutes. The best track is "Chase" with 17 minutes of nonstop action music with some exciting and thrilling string and percussion work. "Peacemaker" contains the most of the Russian choir which Zimmer used a lot of in Crimson Tide. For the most part, the score is very loud and bombastic with tons and tons of high octane thrills. Those who enjoy Zimmer's action music will definitely enjoy this rollercoaster ride of a score."
