A Great Selection Of Some Of Hans Zimmer's Early Cues

"As a huge Hans Zimmer fan I search far and wide for hard to find scores of his. This album is the second of 2 Hans Zimmer compilation albums released. I purchased volume one, which was "Hans Zimmer: The British Years" because that album has some hard to find and unreleased cues of his. However, I already own every single score that is featured on this album so I have no need to purchase it. I can say though that these selections are very good for the casual Hans Zimmer fan, but for die hard fans it won't satisfy. Especially since Beyond Rangoon, Backdraft, and Broken Arrow are very excellent scores and warrant a purchase of those entire albums."

"This is a decent Zimmer compilation from his early USA projects but I don't see why Milan released this CD with songs previously released tracks on various CD's. If they really wanted to release something special, they should have added to the tracklisting some previously unreleased tracks, like they did on The British Years, especially from Rain Man and The Lion King which are really wonderful soundtracks. However, this is a perfect compilation for early Zimmer fans. Overall, think twice before buying this CD. You risk to fell sorry later for the money."
