Album DescriptionHe died on New Years Day 1953 on the back seat of his Cadillac on the way to a concert. Herman P. Willis, better know as Hank Williams, was the first super star of country music. Many of his songs became classics and are still sung by numerous artists today. Hank Williams turned country music upside down and tore down its borders which is why he is still a major inspiration for the alternative country movements of the present day. On the 50th anniversary of his death we want to remember one of the greatest - if not the greatest - singer/songwriter of the 20th century. Features 27 tracks including the hit 'Ramblin Man'.
