"When I listen to Don't Tell Me Now, I often think that the two lead singers are singing what the both consider to be the most likely lyrics to the music, and are singing entirely independantly from each other. The result is like playing a Built to Spill track over a Dub Narcotic track, both covering the same song. It is brilliant, and new."
Not as good as their first or third albums

"Calvin and Doug are at it again. This time it sounds like the album was put out to quelch the fire for another Halo Benders' album. The songs don't fit together as well and the music is all over the boards. With that said it is still Calvin and Doug and there are a few great songs on this album."

"Sounds like Built to Spill in a garage. Bombshelter Pt1 is a true weird-pop gem."
