"I've been a Hal Ketchum fan for years...loved Past the Point of Rescue, Small Town Saturday Night, Sure Love...but really loved this CD the best. Hal's music always speaks to me. He's able to conjure up mental pictures and the feelings that go with these pictures, with the songs he writes and sings. I love the honesty and poignancy of this CD."

"I love Hal Ketchum and this CD just proves what a talent he is! The best songs on this CD were never released as singles. The beautiful haunting "Swing Low", a song about a homeless woman and her child and "Veil of Tears", about the death march of Native Americans shows what depth he possesses not only as a singer, but also as a writer. He'll never be a "super star" but if you like beautiful, thoughtful music then Hal's the one."
