"This is a delightful album. I don't know how ASV Living Era does it, but once again they have created a wonderful collection of 1929-1940 songs, this time by Hal Kemp & His Orchestra. The selection and arrangement of the songs is impeccable and the sound quality is superb. Every single song is a delight, so I'll just highlight a few, such as Forty-Second Street, Shuffle Off to Buffalo, Lullaby of Broadway, When I'm with You, This Year's Kisses and Remember Me? I highly recommend this uplifting CD. Thanks again, ASV Living Era, for your flawless compilations!
Note: If you enjoy music of this era, you will not want to miss the brilliant Ray Noble Orchestra with Al Bowlly as well as the wonderful music of Eddy Duchin, Carroll Gibbons and 1930s Bing Crosby."
