CD ReviewsOne of the Hafler Trio's best albums 03/09/1999 (5 out of 5 stars) "Masturbatorium comprises of one fairly long sound collage of processed/remixed sounds and samples that were taken from one of Annie Sprinkle's Post-Porn Modernist -ahem- performances (she was once married to Andy Mackenzie - who is The Hafler Trio). This album is not even vaguely as disjointed as some other H3OH albums can be. It starts out soft then builds in intensity without lapsing into crudeness, in fact, the sound source is not readily apparent. A great dramatic sound collage with a highly charged sexual/sensual atmosphere."
